I was styling a house for an Evening Standard photoshoot earlier in the week which had amazing floor to ceiling windows overlooking a canal. The view outside was looking a little grey and wintry (not ideal for a summer shoot).
But luckily, the apartments on the other side of the canal had decked out their communal gardens with strings of multicoloured bunting which instantly cheered up the view and made a lovely backdrop to the photos.
If you’re feeling crafty, try this great idea from Paper Crave and create your own bunting from vintage book pages for grown-up glamour. Brightly coloured comics would work equally well for a kids party.
